“Off the shelf” products:

Apart from providing a bespoke and tailored service to tourism businesses, we offer a variety of opportunities to meet buyers in face to face situations.

  • Trade Shows – Stand Sharing and Literature Distribution Check out our News and Events page for details of the shows attended by SRT. These events offer you the chance to meet buyers face to face at a fraction of the cost normally associated with attendance at important trade shows. You can either have stand sharing at the show[s] in question, or you can let us rack and distribute your literature for you. Stand sharing and literature racking needs to be booked and is subject to availability. Simply e mail us on steve@stevereedtourism.co.uk and we will send you further details on booking, costs involved and the arrangements for stand sharing or literature racking.
  • Making the Most of the Group Traveller - Training Days If you need group business and seek to enhance your performance in this important field, then this one day training course is ideal for your business, organisation or destination. Organised very much with the needs of the business concerned, the courses are for up to 12 individuals at a time. They can take place at a venue of your own choosing. We cover the entire group travel spectrum from initial contact, meet and greet, sales to passengers and looking after the driver to building up your group travel customer base. This covers all arrangements including an initial briefing as well as a feedback meeting with the client. For further information or to book a training day, simply e mail Steve Reed on steve@stevereedtourism.co.uk or telephone 01434 634117.
  • Group Travel Familiarisation Events We specialise in the art of getting sellers together with buyers – hence our boast as the UK’s leading familiarisation company. The fams are the perfect way to showcase a tourism destination; a group of hotels; a cluster of attractions or simply to show off an area growing in its appeal to the visitor. We know thousands of tours planners from right around the country and indeed overseas, and they all have one thing in common – they want to see and experience new tour products. SRT will organise an entire fam’ programme to reflect your product – much of it sponsored by the participating businesses and organisations. We will source the right buyers and invite them to witness your product first hand – usually, but not always, over a weekend. The fam’ involves a great deal of partnership activity, generation of much positive PR and, most importantly, the creation of new and additional groups business for the client. For more details contact Steve Reed on steve@stevereedtourism.co.uk
  • Development of Tours Ideas Tour operators, group travel organisers and tour planners of all descriptions appreciate help when it comes to new tour ideas. SRT specialises in creating – often from scratch – brand new tour ideas, themes and itineraries. These are high quality products, carefully researched and totally geared to helping your business have the edge over your group travel competitor. We design and print the tours to your satisfaction – you can then use the handy and attractive format in your marketing and sales efforts. If you require further details and costings on our tour ideas, please e mail Steve Reed on steve@stevereedtourism.co.uk
  • Workshops – Meet Group Buyers Directly Every year we have a series of direct ‘meet the buyer’ sales opportunities where you can meet tour planners face to face. The sessions usually last for one hour and attendees can meet a number of tour planners in a workshop situation. We provide you with a list of the tour planners attending the workshop and you simply do business with them at a table we will provide for you, along with chairs for you and the buyers and a space for a small backdrop display. If you can’t attend in person, we can instead distribute your literature to these important group buyers. For details of Workshops coming up, please check the News and Events section or e mail steve@stevereedtourism.co.uk
  • Coach Driver Promotions Coach drivers - and indeed Couriers - can be important to your business, particularly if it is a visitor attraction, retail establishment, museum or service station. SRT works closely with hundreds of drivers across the country in an effort to promote tourist sites, increase awareness of visitor destinations and sometimes, to find out what the average coach driver thinks of a particular attraction. We do this through direct face to face interviews at carefully selected sites.
  • Buyer Meetings If you want to meet decision-makers in their own offices - or perhaps at your H/Q - SRT can arrange to get you the meetings with the buyers best geared for your business. Whether it is for the groups or conference market, this is a very cost effective way to generate new business.
