2009 Autumn Familiarisation Events
1. East Lothian Scotland Showcase 6-8 September 2009.
[Two nights Sunday 6th and Monday 7th September, begins Sunday 2pm, ends Tuesday teatime] Staying at the superb 4 star Macdonald Marine Hotel in North Berwick, overlooking the Firth of Forth and the famous Bass Rock - complete with golf, Spa, outdoor Jacuzzi and great leisure, this includes Glenkinchie Distillery and Whisky Tasting; Tantallon Castle; Scenic Coastal Tour of ‘The Golf Coast’; The Museum of Flight; Boat Trip to The Bass Rock Nature Reserve; John Muir’s Birthplace; Hailes Castle; Musselburgh Racecourse; Trip to Edinburgh; Preston Grange Museum; Scenic Coastal Tour; Seton Collegiate Church; Brunton Theatre; Time to Enjoy and Relax in the State of the Art Leisure and Spa Centre.
2. North Wales Borderlands. 20-22 September 2009.
[Two nights Sunday 20th and Monday 21st Sept, begins Sunday lunchtime, ends Tuesday teatime] Staying at the excellent Beaufort Park Hotel in Mold - taking in a wonderful array of top class attractions and scenic tours of the beautiful Welsh countryside in the three areas of Flintshire, Wrexham and Denbighshire, the event also features a ‘Meet the Tourism Industry Holiday Show’ and the Mold Food Festival.
These events are for tour planners and their partners or colleagues - up to two people can attend - one room per company. Two nights accommodation, food, tours and entertainment are included in the price. Please note: Due to the costs involved in the organising of these events we are unable to refund due to cancellation but we could transfer you to an alternative familiarisation if we are notified of the need to cancel within three weeks of the event.
*Our events are informative and enjoyable; they are a working and fact finding experience for tour planners.
