Businesses Invited to Hotel Event – 17 October
Businesses, firms and organisations from around the North East are being invited to attend a special ‘Corporate Open Day’ at a popular County Durham Hotel

The Helme Park Hall Hotel, just off the A68 at Fir Tree near Tow Law in County Durham is to be the venue for this fact-finding event on Wednesday 17th October from 11.30am until 2.00pm.

Organised in conjunction with Corbridge based Tourism Specialists Steve Reed Tourism Ltd, the Corporate Open Day aims to provide a networking opportunity for firms, businesses and organisations – from the private, public and voluntary sectors – and will be a chance for the attendees on the day to sample the Helme Park Hall’s conference, meeting, team building and restaurant facilities first-hand.

The free event commences at 11.30am with a reception and networking session in the hotel’s large Stobbard Suite – named after the former owner of the Helme Park and Commander of the nearby WW2 Harperley POW Camp!

After a show’ round of the hotel facilities, including the bedrooms, the ever popular Elgees Restaurant at the Helme Park Hall will provide a light buffet meal for the delegates.

Lynda Graham, 32, of nearby Tow Law, was formerly the Head Chef of the hotel and is now the General Manager of the Helme Park:

‘The hotel’s situation, with its stunning views overlooking Weardale; our mouth watering and delicious menus, coupled with the Helme’s marvellous meeting facilities and extensive grounds, are the perfect ingredients for a successful meeting, event or conference.

‘But companies, businesses and organisations really have to see it for themselves in order to fully appreciate what we have to offer here – and the Corporate Open Day on the 17th October is the ideal opportunity!,’ says Lynda.

Anyone wishing to reserve places at the Corporate Open Day should contact Lynda Graham or Marc Edminson on [01388] 730 970 – places are subject to availability
