Tour Operators all Fired Up for Staffordshire Showcasing Event!
The very best of Staffordshire’s tourism industry will be at Wedgwood Visitor Centre next week to unveil an eagerly awaited new tourism opportunity.
The Destination Staffordshire’s Showcasing event –will be officially launched at Wedgwood next Tuesday morning, 31st January, at 10.30 am. Please Note: Photographers and Reporters are invited to attend the photo call.
Long established coach and tour operator Bakers Coaches from Biddulph, will be in attendance with one of their coaches.
Organised as a high quality, not to be missed opportunity for Staffordshire’s many top attractions, destinations, hotels and group venues, the Showcasing Event is being arranged in conjunction with travel trade specialists Steve Reed Tourism Ltd, and will take place on Thursday 18th October.
Coach, tour operators and group travel organisers from throughout the country will be invited to attend the new event in order to find out more of what Staffordshire has to offer for groups of all types.
Some of the county’s best and most loved attractions will be there in force at the event. These include; Alton Towers, The National Memorial Arboretum, Trentham Estate, Drayton Manor, Stoke-on-Trent Museum including the Staffordshire Hoard, The Trentham Monkey Forest, Shugborough, and the Wedgwood Visitor Centre & Museum to name just a few.
Tour buyers will have the opportunity to meet the people behind these businesses, face to face.

The Showcasing Event will be from 11:00am until 3:00pm on Thursday 18th October and will be held at the very popular Wedgwood Visitor Centre and Museum, Barlaston, Stoke-on-Trent – just off junction 15 of the M6.
