ENGLISH RIVIERA REVEALS DATE FOR 2019 GROUPS SHOWCASE

26-28 MARCH FAM VISIT FOR THE TRAVEL TRADE
One of the UK’s most popular Group Holiday destinations has just revealed the date for its second Groups Showcase following its first event being such a success in 2018 and enjoyed by over 85 Coach and Group Tour Operators.
Now in
its second year, the ENGLISH RIVIERA
GROUPS SHOWCASE will take place from the 26-28 MARCH 2019 and will provide the
perfect opportunity for coach, tour operators and group travel organisers to
see for themselves how much the English Riviera has to offer groups all year
round.
Organised
by the English Riviera Business Improvement District [ERBID] Company and
coordinated by UK travel trade specialists Steve Reed Tourism Ltd of Hampshire,
this three-day event will be a unique occasion for the travel trade to plan future
group tours to the beautiful South Devon Coast.
Tour
buyers will be hosted free of charge in a selection of group hotels and will
have the opportunity to visit a choice of local attractions with opportunities
to explore and experience Torquay, Cockington, Babbacombe, Paignton and/or
Brixham, with local transfers provided.

‘The 26th to the 28th MARCH
2019 will be one of the key dates in our Tourism Calendar and deliberately coincides
with our annual English Riviera Tourism Exhibition [27 March] at the Riviera
International Conference Centre, where tour planners will be able to meet a range
of hotel and attraction operators face to face to discuss future tours.’
The
2018 event attracted a range of coach and tour operators, group travel
organisers and inbound tour planners to the English Riviera. It was a perfect
opportunity to showcase the many hotels, year-round attractions and group
venues which are always on offer in the English Riviera. Several English Riviera attractions will be
showcased at the 2019 event including: Bygones Victorian Village, Babbacombe
Model Village, Torre Abbey, Cockington, Kents Cavern and Dartmouth Steam
Railway.
Delegates
will be hosted free of charge by hotels across the resort including Babbacombe,
Torquay and Paignton and will be invited to a Gala Dinner and show at
Babbacombe Theatre.
