Group Travel Operators and Organisers Invited
Plans for the English Riviera’s first ever Group Travel Showcase are now well underway.
Coach and tour operators and group travel organisers
from all over the country will descend on South Devon and many have already
signed up for this exciting initiative.
Organised by the new English Riviera Business
Improvement District [EBID] Company and coordinated by UK travel trade
specialists Steve Reed Tourism Ltd of Hampshire, the three-day event will be a
unique occasion for the travel trade to plan their tours.
It will be taking place 7th– 9th March
2018. The buyers will visit and meet group hotel and attraction operators from
Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.
Hotels and attractions across the English Riviera are
now being invited to be involved in the showcase through hosting Group Travel
Operators and Organisers.
The event will coincide with the annual English
Riviera Tourism Exhibition where tour planners will be able to meet a wide
choice of hotel and attraction group operators to discuss and arrange future
tours. The exhibition, in its fourth year, will be held at the English Riviera
Conference Centre in Torquay.
A fact-finding visit by Steve Reed Tourism this week included
visits to a number of hotels and attractions including Babbacombe Model
Village; Bygones and the Dartmouth Steam Railway. A detailed programme of
visits for the tour planners is now being put together.
