Andy Hoping for the Sweet Smell of Success Candy Tours of Hampshire GTO Offer

1/14/2020

A Hampshire based tour operator is inviting group travel organisers to raise their glasses with a super new tour.

Andy Martin of Candy Tours of Selborne in Hampshire is a member of Travel World Association [TWA] and has been organising days out and group tours for a number of years. He’s also developing short breaks and holidays further afield as he seeks to offer his services to GTOS.

With this in mind Andy is to offer his brand new Historic Hostelries of Hampshire tour to group organisers. It’s a highly enjoyable and relaxing way to savour some of the South’s most enchanting and ancient pubs and always without having to worry about driving.

‘Britain is famous the world over and rightly so for its traditional public houses and nowhere more so than fabulous Hampshire,’ explains Andy.

‘Imagine a winter tour with roaring fires, real ales, local food and the atmosphere of a historic hostelry! We’re also doing a summer version which takes in some superb scenery – after all, we’re very much in the centre of Jane Austen Country, on the South Downs and just up from the beautiful New Forest.’

The new tours also include adjoining counties such as West Sussex and each includes a free drink, nibbles and dinner.

TWA Champion Steve Reed of Steve Reed Tourism Ltd is also a Hampshire resident and has a keen interest in showcasing the UK’s superb pubs:

‘Many of our lovely old pubs are closing and they’ll disappear forever if we’re not careful. Yet they truly are unique and represent all that is good about Great Britain, its people, our sense of community and of course our great history,’ says Steve

‘Andy Martin has come up with a delightful tour that not only offers an opportunity for GTOS but also helps support many of our rural inns and hostelries – we enjoyed a top SRT fam in Hull recently and one of the many highlights there for the tour planners was the wonderful evening pub tour. Let’s not underestimate how important they are to tourism and how they can easily provide for a successful group tour!’
